Texas is grabbing headlines today. People are paying attention, both in
the state and across the country.

While statewide races like Senate and Governor get a lot of attention, the
future of Texas will also be decided by critical down-ballot races next
year — from the State House and State Senate, to key local offices that
affect our daily lives. And we can win these down-ballot races.

In 2024, there were seven State House races won by Republicans where the
Democratic candidate got more than 44% of the vote. That’s on top of a
State Senate race that came down to a narrow 1% margin. We can close the
gap and flip these seats in 2026—if we organize right now.
