It had been a while since I let out a good, hearty laugh in Washington. But when I saw this post from Trump’s so-called “Department of War”, I couldn’t stop myself from bursting out laughing. Even my staff came out to ask me what happened.

That’s how ridiculous this Tweet is:

“The most transparent administration in U.S. history” 😂😂😂

I guess to Donald Trump, his idea of “transparency” is kicking out any reporter who doesn’t regurgitate his fascist talking points, profiting millions off shady cryptocurrencies, and setting up sweetheart merger deals with his billionaire allies.

But real transparency? Like banning members of Congress from trading stocks and releasing the Epstein files? According to Trump, those are just “fake news.”

You know: Trump’s lies are so obvious, so brazen, I can’t help but laugh. But it’s serious. Every MAGA Republican in Congress is repeating Trump’s lies and promising to do whatever it takes to expand their majority next year. Now, they’ve set their sights on this district.

We can’t let Trump’s lies spread unchecked across California. We NEED to hold this seat and send the MAGA movement packing — just like we did last year.
