Despite all of the chaos of the last week or so, we still have a campaign to run. So here’s the deal.

At the end of the month, we are up against our final FEC fundraising deadline of the year. The stakes are high.

That’s because after December 31st, we are legally required to file a fundraising report, which will then be published for everyone and anyone to see.

This is a major test for our campaign.

We have been under sustained attack from the far-right. They have gone after me, my nationality and religion, my Minneapolis community, and our entire movement with racist smears and dangerous, anti-immigrant fear-mongering.

After everything we’ve done to push back on these lies and attacks, people will be watching to see if our campaign still has widespread grassroots support.

If we can end the year with a HUGE amount of contributions from thousands and thousands of regular folks, we can send a message that this campaign can defeat any and all challengers.

But if we fall short, we send the opposite message. We signal to Trump, the far-right, Fox News, AIPAC, and the entire political establishment that this campaign is vulnerable. That they may be able to beat us with reckless and unhinged rhetoric.

So, friend: Make a contribution to my campaign as we approach the end of the year. We need everyone who is committed to fighting back to do their part by chipping in. $10 or even $5 is enough to show that you stand with us here in Minneapolis.
