In 2018, the last time Trump faced a midterm election, Democrats picked up 41 Congressional seats. Based on the massive overperformances by Democrats in elections across the country this year, Democrats should be on track for an even bigger blue wave… 

Unfortunately, MAGA now holds an edge in redistricting. If it continues at its current pace it won’t matter how many seats we flip, we will be at an unbeatable disadvantage, and we won’t reclaim the House. 

That means it doesn’t matter how unpopular Trump becomes, his rigging of the 2026 midterms ensures that he will no longer have to face the voters to maintain his grip on power. 

Mark our words, our system of free and fair elections is being torn apart at a pace so rapid that they will no longer exist by November 2026. 

Our only shot at coming out of this with our Democracy intact is if we redistrict back. If done aggressively, not only do we survive but we beat them at their own game and ensure their plan backfires. 

California and Virginia just joined the fight but if it's just them it will be too little too late. More blue states must come online with redistricts of their own in order for Democrats to stay on track to win the midterms and reclaim the House. 

Colorado is now joining this fight. Fair Fight Colorado is introducing the ballot initiative that will give Coloradans the opportunity to vote on new maps that will make Colorado bluer and counteract Trump’s redistricting efforts. 

But by no means is success in Colorado guaranteed. It will be a steep uphill fight. Getting this on the ballot will require collecting hundreds of thousands of signatures and we expect MAGA to contest us over every single one of them. They will throw everything they have into stopping this. 

We need to prepare for all out war. If every person on our email list gave just $5 it would mean hundreds of thousands of dollars for this critical endeavor. Small dollars add up.
