The Supreme Court of the United States has upheld Trump’s gerrymandered maps in Texas and his attempt to rig the 2026 elections in his favor.

This is bad news. For our movement and for Democrats across the country. This decision essentially cleared the way for other states Trump has pressured to redraw maps, like North Carolina, Ohio, and Missouri, to suppress Democratic voters.

Make no mistake: MAGA majorities across the country are seeking to rig next year’s Congressional election to ensure a Republican victory. And now they have Trump and SCOTUS’ explicit approval.

But here’s the thing. Virginia is stepping in to fight back — and I’m helping lead the charge. We’re fighting back to ensure that people are heard next year and Trump doesn't get away with rigging elections.

This means a new map in Virginia to level the playing field. And even though new maps reshape my district, I am helping to lead the charge here, and doing everything in my power to stop Trump’s power grab and protect fair representation.

But this fight won’t be easy. Trump is coming after every Democrat who supports redistricting, and he’s made it well known that I am on his list of targets. After all, he just launched a sham investigation into me to kick me out of Congress.

So I need you to stand with me. In my fight to flip the House blue, to protect fair voting, and to level the playing field against Trump’s corruption.
