I have filed for reelection to represent Texas’s 20th District in Congress.

I love representing my hometown, San Antonio, in Congress. I’m running for reelection because I want to keep working to make life more affordable for the people of our city, and create more opportunity for families across our state.

Friend, San Antonians and Texans also need leaders who will stand up for their fundamental rights and human dignity – especially as they come under assault by a lawless president and his cowardly allies in statewide Texas leadership.

I refuse to back down to Donald Trump and Greg Abbott's assault on the rights of working families in Texas.

Whether it’s their attacks on immigrant communities, their attempts to rig our elections, or their efforts to slash our healthcare and benefits — we CANNOT afford to sit out this fight. 

That’s why I’m reaching out to ask you, personally, if you’ll chip in $15, $25, or $50 to help me kick off my reelection campaign. With Trump and Abbott gerrymandering our districts, we need all the help we can get to reach voters. Your support goes a long way.
