*What does this seminar cover?*

This seminar includes information on:


* Worker status (independent contractor vs. employee)
* Withholding tax basics (withholding, depositing, and reporting)
* Unemployment Insurance (tax rates, wage reporting, and managing your UI cost)
* Workers’ Compensation requirements (full-day only)

*Who should attend?*

Business owners, tax and payroll professionals, bookkeepers, and accountants.

*Can I receive continuing education credit for attending?*

Yes. The Unemployment Insurance (UI) program offers Professional Development Credits (PDCs). You may request credit from UI program representatives on the course evaluation form.
