On day one, Donald Trump said he would “rapidly bring down costs and prices.” Since January 20, life has become even more unaffordable for hardworking Americans.

Cost-saving Affordable Care Act tax credits will expire at the end of 2025 and health care costs will skyrocket for families who are already struggling to get by. 

In TX-29, 111,000 people will see their health care costs rise. A 6o year old couple will see their premiums rise by $22,900 and an average family of four will see their premiums rise by $2,651, according to the House Budget Committee Minority.

You deserve better. I have joined every single House Democrat in demanding an up-or-down vote on a three-year extension of the Affordable Care Act tax credits. If just a handful of Republicans sign this discharge petition, the House will be able to vote to stop these premium hikes.
