Big news about voting rights, team. The South Carolina Democratic Party led the legal battle for prepaid postage on absentee ballot envelopes -- and we won!

Last week, the state agreed to pay postage for all absentee ballots in November. This removes one unnecessary barrier to voting, but there are many more obstacles to go. We need to keep up the fight to expand access to absentee voting by mail. Will you chip in $10, $20.20, or another amount to power our voter protection efforts between now and Election Day?

In 2020, we face a unique challenge: defending voters’ rights, while mitigating public health risks. South Carolina Democrats’ Voter Protection Unit is committed to preventing COVID-19 and discriminatory restrictions from suppressing turnout.

Every day, our team is working hard to ensure every eligible South Carolina voter can access the ballot and feel confident that their vote will count. But ramping up these efforts between today and November 3rd will require resources.
