1 in 5 kids in rural America don’t have enough to eat. Tell Congress: 14 million children need SNAP to stay healthy. Ending child hunger should NEVER be political! [[link removed]]
TELL CONGRESS NOW [[link removed]]
John,
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) helps 42 million Americans put food on the table.
Hardworking families. Beloved grandparents. Hungry kids.
Last month, their benefits lapsed for the first time in modern history. Thankfully, SNAP has been fully restored… but children will still go hungry.
We must keep pressure on Congress. Urge your lawmakers to defend SNAP and help children thrive! [[link removed]]
SPEAK OUT NOW [[link removed]]
John, the SNAP disruption showed our nation how many families are struggling to afford basic pantry staples.
Many drove miles to the nearest food bank – just to wait in long lines for limited choices. For every meal these pantries can provide, SNAP provides NINE.
But it’s not the only support system Americans rely on.
There's also the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), which helps 7 million moms plus their newborns and toddlers.
Supporting our country’s most effective anti-hunger programs should be a no-brainer. Push Congress to protect SNAP and WIC! [[link removed]]
Thanks for raising your voice,
