John,

Tomorrow, California’s churches could remain eerily silent.

The ACLJ just filed a lawsuit to take back their voices.

Our lawsuit includes the Bible’s command: “Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord . . .” (Ephesians 5:19). But Californians in need of worship have found their “psalms, hymns and spiritual songs” ripped away by a radical Left state ban on singing in church.

Singing is fundamental to worship, and banning it in church is one of the most draconian abuses of power in a pandemic.

This week, we filed a MAJOR lawsuit against the unconstitutional singing ban, but we face a monumental challenge. We’re taking on a powerful state government with inexhaustible resources.

We urgently need your Tax-Deductible support. Right now, your gift will be DOUBLED through our Matching Challenge as we head to federal court in a case that could quickly go to the Supreme Court.

The radical Left is trying to weaponize COVID-19, and the Church is its primary target. The singing ban is a slap in the face to all believers.

We just filed a lawsuit challenging California’s unconstitutional ban on singing and chanting activities in places of worship on behalf of multiple California churches. Take action with us now.

While California won’t let churches sing, Turkey is turning a Christian church into a mosque.

Turkey’s President ordered Hagia Sophia – a historic Christian church built only about 500 years after Christ – be reconverted from a museum into an Islamic mosque.

Its mosaics depicting the Gospel are being covered up. They’re erasing Christian history. It’s an attack on Christianity.

WE’RE FIGHTING BACK.

We’re taking action at the U.N., urging international pressure on Turkey to save this historic Christian church.

We also helped deliver a major victory for churches at the Supreme Court. The high Court agreed with our critical filings in favor of the “Ministerial Exception,” ruling church-run schools can make hiring decisions based on their faith.
