John,
Texas extremists just showed their hand. On December 4, they quietly
unleashed HB 7, a law built not just to ban abortion, but to hunt down
anyone who helps someone get care. Clinics, doctors, friends, organizers —
no one is safe from their $100,000 bounties or their attack on medication
abortion.
This isn’t random. It’s coordinated, intentional, and coming for the whole
country.
HB 7 is part of the same far-right project targeting abortion, trans
people, immigrants, and democracy. Their strategy depends on us being
scared and silent.
So let’s be clear: we’re not silent.
That’s why January 20 matters. When extremists try to control our bodies
and our lives, we respond by pulling our labor, our time, and our consent.
We walk out to show them exactly what they fear most: this country cannot
function without us.

On January 20, we escalate.
