RECAP: 101ST ANNUAL MEETING
The Arlington Chamber of Commerce held its 101st Annual Meeting at the Sheraton Hotel Pentagon City. Sponsored by Comcast, the Annual Meeting celebrated the Chamber’s ongoing contributions to Arlington’s business community, highlighted key achievements from 2025, and outlined priorities for the year ahead. Attendees heard from keynote speakers Peter Alexander, Co-Anchor, "Saturday TODAY" and NBC News Chief White House Correspondent and Alison Starling, former Co-Anchor for WJLA-TV. Their engaging fireside chat touched on the importance of authentic storytelling and how that relates to business and everyday life, along with how the changing dynamics in media such as social media offer opportunities along with challenges in covering news to audiences. They then took live questions from our attendees on topics such as social media engagement to balancing career and family life.
The Committee of the Year Award was presented to the Chamber's Community Action Committee, chaired by Jennifer Davies of the Animal Welfare League of Arlington.
Nestlé received the Chair's Award, sponsored by George Mason University - Costello College of Business, presented to a business who made an exceptional impact on the Chamber.
Scott Reamy of Dominion Energy received the President's Award, sponsored by Walsh, Colucci, Lubeley & Walsh P.C., for outstanding volunteer contributions to the Chamber in the past year.
Following the awards, Chamber 2026 Board Chair Bismah Ahmed of the Apartment and Office Building Association introduced the slate for the 2026 Executive Committee and Board of Directors and announced that Andrea Fava of Amazon will serve as the Chamber 2027 Board Chair.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended our final signature event of the year!
