Trump’s National Security Strategy Is Amazing
There is a lot to love about Trump’s newly released National Security Strategy, but by far the most important is the blunt message it delivers to our close allies in Europe. National Security Strategy: Continental Europe has been losing share of global GDP—down from 25 percent in 1990 to 14 percent today—partly owing to national and transnational regulations that undermine creativity and industriousness. But this economic decline is eclipsed by the real and more stark prospect of civilizational erasure. The larger issues facing Europe include activities of the European Union and other transnational bodies that undermine political liberty and sovereignty, migration policies that are transforming the continent and creating strife, censorship of free speech and suppression of political opposition, cratering birthrates, and loss of national identities and self-confidence. Should present trends continue, the continent will be unrecognizable in 20 years or less. As such, it is far from obvious whether certain European countries will have economies and militaries strong enough to remain reliable allies. Many of these nations are currently doubling down on their present path. We want Europe to remain European, to regain its civilizational self-confidence, and to abandon its failed focus on regulatory suffocation. ( National Security Strategy)

EU Fines X in Absurd Attack on Free Speech
Speaking of the EU’s attacks on liberty, the organization has imposed an outrageous fine on X, sparking a conflict with the United States that could spin out of control. POLITICO.EU: The European Commission on Friday imposed a €120 million fine on Elon Musk’s X, the first-ever penalty issued under the bloc’s flagship content moderation law. The move is likely to inflame tensions with the U.S. over the bloc’s digital rules and prompted early criticism from U.S. Vice President JD Vance, who blasted the plans as a fine for “not engaging in censorship.” …X was found in breach of transparency obligations it faces as a very large online platform under the EU’s Digital Services Act. The Commission said the design of X’s blue checkmark is “deceptive,” after it was changed from user verification into a paid feature. ( POLITICO.EU) The bureaucrats have been hungering to fine X ever since Elon Musk reversed Twitter’s “content moderation,” and even threatened X with fines for platforming Donald Trump during the campaign. Expect the Trump administration to fight back.

New Democratic Party Line on Narco-Terrorists: They Are Just Trying to Make a Living
Democrats have been working overtime to find an angle to attack the Trump administration’s policy of destroying smuggling boats filled with deadly drugs and narco-terrorists. While they have yet to drop the “war crime” hoax, they have added a new talking point to the mix. Representative John Himes (D-CT): ‘Americans might cheer killing narco-terrorists… but look, these poor fellas clinging to the wreckage aren’t Pablo Escobar, they just lacked economic opportunity and made one bad choice.’ ( X) Senator Jack Reed (D-RI): “Usually, people are not significantly involved…It’s the way they make money.” ( X) Sure, they are smuggling drugs into the country that kill millions of Americans, but, looked at properly, the drug smugglers really are just guys, you know.

Another Charlotte Light Rail Stabbing
No doubt the city fathers in Charlotte will point out that on most days, random, insane people or illegal aliens don’t stab innocent people; it’s just every once in a while. CNN: The city of Charlotte is contending with another stabbing on its light rail system, months after the fatal stabbing of a Ukrainian refugee served as a flashpoint for the crime debate in major American cities. The stabbing on Friday, which left one person seriously injured, happened on Charlotte’s LYNX Blue Line – the same route where refugee Iryna Zarutska was killed. The Trump administration and conservative politicians cited her death as an example of the violent crime they say plagues many Democrat-led cities across the United States. ( CNN) This time it was not an insane multiple-time felon who stabbed an innocent; it was a previously-deported illegal alien taking shelter in a sanctuary city in a state where the governor is fighting the Trump administration’s deportation policies.

Climate Change Cancelled This Year
Hurricane season has officially ended this year without a single storm hitting the American coastline—an uncommon but welcome occurrence. Climate doomists have been warning that these storms would become more frequent and more violent as human-produced carbon dioxide keeps increasing, but it seems Gaia herself fears offending President Trump. Townhall: the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) last week announced that, as of November 30, the official end of the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season, this year was historic. “For the first time in a decade, not a single hurricane struck the U.S. this season, and that was a much needed break,” said Neil Jacobs, Ph.D., under secretary of commerce for oceans and atmosphere and NOAA administrator. He added that a tropical storm did cause “damage and casualties in the Carolinas, distant hurricanes created rough ocean waters that caused property damage along the East Coast, and neighboring countries experienced direct hits from hurricanes.” But with no major hurricane making landfall in the U.S., do you know that that means, kids? It means “climate change” is over! We fixed it! And you thought you were wasting your time driving your kids to school in that cramped Prius, while China and India were belching more deadly and toxic pollution into the atmosphere (50%) than the rest of the world. NYT Discovers That Ukraine Is a Kleptocracy
Truth is one of the first casualties of war, and there has been precious little truth spoken during the debate over the best policies to follow during the Ukraine-Russia war. The Biden administration expended enormous effort to cover up Ukraine’s responsibility for destroying the Nord Stream pipeline, and the same holds true for hiding the corruption of the Zelensky government. New York Times: Over the past four years, a New York Times investigation found, the Ukrainian government systematically sabotaged that oversight, allowing graft to flourish. President Volodymyr Zelensky’s administration has stacked boards with loyalists, left seats empty or stalled them from being set up at all. Leaders in Kyiv even rewrote company charters to limit oversight, keeping the government in control and allowing hundreds of millions of dollars to be spent without outsiders poking around. Supervisory boards serve an essential oversight function, allowing independent experts, typically from other countries, to scrutinize major decisions inside Ukrainian state-owned companies. They are also central to the corruption scandal swirling around Mr. Zelensky’s government. Anti-corruption authorities have accused members of his inner circle of siphoning off and laundering $100 million from the state-owned nuclear power company, Energoatom. Mr. Zelensky’s administration has blamed Energoatom’s supervisory board for failing to stop the corruption. But it was Mr. Zelensky’s government itself that neutered Energoatom’s supervisory board, The Times found. ( The New York Times) The Times is reportedly working on a story that will blow the lid off the gambling industry in Casablanca.

Reminder: Obama’s ‘Double Tap’ Strikes Were Official Policy
The Washington Post published a bombshell story accusing Secretary of War Pete Hegseth of giving illegal orders to murder Venezuelan narco-terrorists who were Hors de combat (out of the fight). This accusation has been put to rest, at least factually, although Democrats are trying to keep the controversy alive. Mark Thiessen, in the same publication, reminds us that Obama’s administration had a much more liberal policy both for whom it struck in the war on terror, and used double (or more) taps routinely. Mark Thiessen: Obama used what were called “signature strikes” in which the U.S. targeted patterns of behavior denoting terrorist activity (“signatures”) even when the precise identity of the individuals being targeted was unknown. And he routinely carried out so-called “double-tap” strikes — hitting a target once and then striking again to take out any survivors or other terrorists who rushed to the scene after the initial hit. “We used double-taps all the time,” said David Shedd, former deputy director and acting director of the Defense Intelligence Agency in the Obama administration. “You would get the initial signature off of a target that’s been hit,” he told me in a podcast interview, “and if you saw that they ‘squirted’ and were injured … you hit them again.” In fact, he said, “there was often a second predator ready to go … that was fully expected to be used if you didn’t have a 100 percent coming out of the first hit — and maybe a third hit,” adding that “it was done routinely” and there “was bipartisan support on the Hill for doing it.” ( Washington Post) Democrats, though, have a killer response: “That’s (D)ifferent.

CDC Changes Hep B Vaccine Recommendation in Low-Risk Infants
The CDC, until Friday, recommended that newborns be vaccinated against Hepatitis B on Day 1, even though it is a disease that primarily affects intravenous drug users and sex workers. On Friday, a CDC panel voted to change the policy to one of having doctors inform mothers of the risks associated with the disease, and of her options to have the infant vaccinated on Day 1 or at some later date. Senator Rand Paul has been arguing for this change for years. Rand Paul: “I don’t know everything about every vaccine.” “But I know two things, there is no indication for your child to take a Covid vaccine, and there’s no indication for your newborn to take a Hepatitis B vaccine if the mom doesn’t have Hepatitis.” “These are facts that are absolute — the science is so solid that we should make it the forefront of what we talk about.” “There’s no argument for even lack of prenatal care — almost all moms are in the hospital, and you can test her for Hepatitis.” “If you’re going to vaccinate their kid and try to force the vaccine on their kid, the mom is in the hospital, you can test her for hepatitis.” “So there is really no argument here in this case.” ( Rand Paul on X) Critics of the decision portray this change as “anti-vax,” but the change in policy focuses on timing.

Democrats Rally to Defend Somali Fraudsters
As the scale of the Somali-led welfare fraud in Minnesota and elsewhere has become national news, the Democrats have rallied around the Somalis with the fervor they usually reserve for Venezuelan gang members and narco-traffickers. Minnesota politicians keep repeating the mantra that Somalis are the “fabric of Minnesota,” and national Democrats keep repeating that “diversity is our strength.” The reason? The top Minnesota officeholders, including Governor Tim Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison, and of course Representative Ilhan Omar, owe the Somali community allegiance and aided in the fraud. David Strom: The Democrats here are very much in a bind, and it is not just their ideological commitment to intersectional politics. The Somalis have captured Minneapolis. They are organized, and very politically savvy. Ilhan Omar has proven to be stronger than the Democratic establishment, and top officials have collaborated in the fraud schemes that have blown up. Walz and Attorney Keith Ellison expect to escape legal consequences for their collaboration with the fraud, and believe that they can ride out the political consequences. Chances are, they are right. It’s not like Democratic voters care. All of this information was out there long ago, and Kamala Harris chose Walz to be the next Vice President of the United States. ( Hot Air) Amy Curtis pointed out another obvious reason why Democrats are rallying around the Somalis: Kamala Harris’ team either didn’t properly vet Tim Walz and his involvement in the massive Somali fraud in Minnesota. OR Kamala Harris’ team did vet him, knew about the fraud, and made him her running mate anyway. Mind-boggling. ( X)

Tom Homan: 62,000 Migrant Children Rescued From Horrors Biden Admin Abetted
The Democrats and Pravda Media have spent years looking away at the massive human trafficking operation run by the cartels, smuggling millions of illegal aliens across the border, including hundreds of thousands of children who disappeared without a trace. Border Czar Tom Homan on Fox News Sunday: “Over 62,000 children found by the Trump Admin — children that weren’t even being looked for under the Biden Admin… Some of these children were in sex trafficking when we found them. Some were in forced labor… I can’t even discuss some of the mistreatment.” ( Rapid Response 47) So far, Trump’s policies have resulted in 2.2 million illegal aliens either being deported from the United States or leaving on their own. Tom Homan: Since President Trump has been in the White House, there has been more than 579,000 removals, an historic record. Together with self deports, there will be approximately 2.2 million total departures. The most secure border in history! The lowest level of crossings ever! Zero released in the last seven months. President Trump’s leadership has resulted in more than 62,400 missing children being found that the Biden administration released to un-vetted sponsors and lost. Some of these children were in sex trafficking and forced labor and being mistreated. President Trump saved their lives. God bless the men and women of HHS, ICE and FBI. They will not stop until we run down every lead on every missing child. President Trump proves everyday why he is the greatest President in my lifetime. ( X)
