That’s right. In a unanimous decision, the Court shut down a lawsuit backed by the Goldwater Institute that sought to let all Arizonans vote on the judges of our state’s powerful appeals courts.
Their ruling?
That “there is no underlying right” to vote on every judge - even though those judges’ rulings set binding precedent across the entire state.
Let that sink in:
- These judges shape every major legal question in Arizona.
- Their rulings affect every county, every citizen, every family.
-
And yet, most Arizonans aren’t even allowed to vote on them.
The Court called the Goldwater Institute’s argument a “compelling policy case” — and then dismissed it as having “no constitutional significance.”
Translation: they know it’s wrong, but they’ll do nothing to fix it.
This is exactly why Operation Clean Ledger exists - because Arizona’s institutions have stopped working for the people. Whether it’s the courts, the counties, or the cash flow behind closed doors, the game is rigged for the insiders.
Unelected bureaucrats. Unaccountable judges. Unchecked corruption.
If we don’t clean the system, the system will erase us.
That’s why I’m calling on 500 more Clean Ledger Patriots before year’s end to stand for election transparency, judicial accountability, and the restoration of constitutional government in Arizona.
Chip in $20.25 - expose the corruption
Chip in $50 - demand judicial accountability
Chip in $100+ - keep Operation Clean Ledger running through 2026
Arizona’s founders never intended for the people’s voice to be silenced by black robes and bureaucrats.
It’s time to take it back.
