Hey John, it’s Frank Mrvan. I know my team and I have reached out a lot in recent days – please know that I appreciate you sticking with me at this critical time.
Tomorrow, the Indiana Senate will convene to begin deliberating on a new gerrymandered map and I’ll be honest: I don’t know what’s going to happen this week.
Because this isn’t something I ever imagined when I first ran for Congress. What Republicans are doing across the country is unprecedented, undemocratic, and wrong.
My focus has always been on making life more affordable for working families, improving access to health care, supporting our seniors, veterans, and children, and serving the people of Northwest Indiana every single day.
But this Republican majority has made it painfully clear: they are more beholden to Donald Trump than the American people. And instead of facing voters at the ballot box for the disastrous policies of the Trump administration, their only hope to maintain control is to gerrymander our maps mid-decade.
We’re just three seats away from flipping the House, but if we don’t keep up the pressure on the Indiana GOP and end their gerrymander for good, Republicans will be one step closer to expanding their majority on Election Day next year. We can’t let that happen.
Can I personally ask you to pitch in today? We’re looking to hit our $50,000 goal before the Indiana Senate convenes to try to push through this new gerrymandered map. Here’s the best link to give if you’re able to: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/fm-em-fr-dec25
Whatever this week holds, I want to thank you for all your support. It’s not lost on me that you continue to show up, stay engaged, and stand with us through every turn of this process.
Thank you John,
Frank Mrvan
