As you know, Advancement Project National Office is celebrating our 20th Anniversary this year. We are hosting a big celebration event, “Freedom Now! Freedom Forever!, on October 17 at Dock 5 at Union Market in Washington, D.C. We can’t wait for our friends, family, partners and supporters to come together. I hope you will join us at the event! This is not a gala; it’s a movement party! What will be happening?

addition
to
the
delicious
food
you
expect,
we’ll
also
have
a
signature
drink
and
a
custom
sundae
dessert
from
the
official
flavor
guru
at
Ben
&
Jerry’s
Ice
Cream.

We
will
honor
some
movement
partners
and
heroes!
We
will
give
Just
Democracy
Awards
to
critical
movement
partners
including
VOTE
(Voices
of
the
Experienced)
to
be
accepted
by
Norris
Henderson,
and
Puente
Human
Rights
Movement
to
be
accepted
by
Jovana
Reneria.
We
will
announce
other
honorees
over
the
next
month.

DJ
Carmen
Spindiego
will
provide
beats
throughout
the
evening.
Local
go-go
band,
Live
in
Treble
(L.I.T.
Band)
will
provide
music
during
the
reception.

stay

for
a
special
surprise
performance

the
evening!
