Today is Women’s Equality Day! A day focused on the passage of the 19th Amendment, which expanded the right to vote to women. On this day, we also remember the countless suffragettes who fought to overcome obstacles put in their way in order to build a more equal society. We’ve accomplished so much since the passage of the 19th Amendment but women still face attacks against their reproductive rights and discrimination in the workplace. Will you take a quick second and add your name to my petition so we can keep fighting for women's equality now and into the future? We can’t do this alone. That’s why I’m asking for your help. We've seen the number of attacks against women’s rights increase day after day. In Iowa, we lost four Planned Parenthood facilities, leaving over 14,000 women and men without primary care services. That’s unacceptable. Can you take a quick second on this Women’s Equality Day and add your name to my petition to stand with me and thousands of other women here in Iowa and throughout our country?
