:
Dear John,
Our forests are full of wonder. Not only do they provide crucial habitat for thousands of species and filter drinking water for millions of people across the country they inspire all who visit and explore them.[1]
But threats to our forests, especially to mature and old-growth trees, are growing rapidly. Congress passed a budget bill that requires more logging in our national forests and Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins has proposed to remove protections from 45 million acres of wild forests. We must act to protect them.
You can help us with the purchase of one of our Let Old Trees Grow t-shirts. By wearing this shirt, you're joining our movement and spreading the word that our oldest trees are vital and need protecting.

Some of the trees that make up our majestic forests are older than the United States itself, but a tree can be turned into a stump in mere moments. Our oldest forests should be left standing.
We're working to keep these old forests protected. Your purchase of this shirt helps us stand up for the trees that can't defend themselves.
