john - Tonight is a huge night for our campaign.

Our pre-primary filing deadline is at midnight and our opponent Bill Hagerty needed to call in President Trump to help make a last minute pitch for his campaign. Hagerty went even further than that, calling his biggest ally our "GREATEST PRESIDENT."

From failing to act on Russian Bounties, to making Tennessee the leader in rural hospital closures per person, and botching a response to the pandemic that has cost us more than 130,000 lives, Trump's record is nothing to celebrate. It's clear from Hagerty's praise that he'll say and do whatever it takes to get elected to the Senate. Once he's there, he'll be a rubber stamp for all the special interests and corporate PACs that installed him there, and that's not going to help Tennessee.

That's not me. I'm a combat veteran running for Senate to serve all Tennesseans in a time of crisis. That's who I am, and it's why I stepped forward.
