Friend — This is the Republican agenda: A tiny handful of billionaires get richer and richer while everyone else is left to fend for themselves.
We’ve heard these guys say for years, going all the way back to Ronald Reagan, that this wealth would eventually trickle down to the working class. Decades later, we’re all still waiting for this magical trickle to happen.
In the past 12 months alone, the 10 richest US billionaires added $700 billion to their wealth.
And over those same 12 months, Trump and Republicans have kicked millions off their healthcare and food assistance, jacked up insurance premiums for working families, and skyrocketed the cost of living with tariffs.
No raises to the minimum wage. No investments in the working class. But plenty of tax cuts for their billionaire buddies. It’s oligarchy.
If we want to create an affordable economy where everyone has the dignity of healthcare, housing, education, and more, we have to confront the power of the billionaire class.
Ed Markey is running for Senate because Massachusetts deserves a Senator who understands this reality. Someone who has refused to back down to the wealthy and powerful time and time again.
So listen. The primary race here in Massachusetts is heating up, and the choice is clear. We need the help of everyone in this progressive movement to reelect Ed Markey and continue to fight for the working class of America.
