Friends, I am writing to you with important news. I’m officially no longer alone in running to represent House District 89 – Kyle Mattern, a right-wing extremist Republican, is looking to bring his radical ideas to the state house.

In the six years I have served as the State Representative for this district, I’ve come to truly know what I have always suspected: Hoosiers, especially here, aren’t interested in extremist, hateful politics. Hoosiers want an affordable cost-of-living, safe public spaces, and public servants who are accountable to them, not the other way around.

My opponent isn’t interested in any of that. Instead, he’s proudly posed alongside extremists like Tucker Carlson, and has openly worked alongside the corrupt and unaccountable Micah Beckwith and Diego Morales.

Let’s be frank: there’s no room in our state or our district for this kind of politics. What we need are common-sense leaders, and common-sense policies. While working class Hoosiers are being gouged at the grocery store, hardliners like my opponent are more focused on spewing nasty rhetoric, because they don’t have any real solutions to offer.

I’ll keep saying it: every day, I will continue to fight for a more affordable, safe, and accountable Indiana. To reject extremism, I’ll need your help. Please donate today to make sure we keep sensible politics in District 89.
