Hello, LeftActivists, hope you are having a great day. We're testing out a new Left Action presence on Substack, a platform which could enable us to roll out a whole bunch of new features. And we've chosen a small group of our most active activists to see it first -- including you. Here's what this means: - Some of the emails you get from us may look a little different, if they're being sent from the Substack system. No worries, it's mostly the same actions, same content, etc., just some formatting and back-end differences. (We may add in some bonus content to test which new features would be of greatest interest)
- No need to do anything special, just respond as you would normally -- click on the link to go to the action.
- But definitely feel free to engage in the comments, notes, and other features if you want, and let us know your thoughts.
- They have an option to do a "paid" subscription, but we've disabled that, this is free, so you shouldn't get that blocking any Left Action content (but let us know if you do).
That's it. We're mainly looking to see how this impacts things like overall participation/action rates, and whether it's more effective. So you'll basically get the same content, and we'll be looking at overall participation on our end.
