The NATO-launched conflict against Russia is about to come to an
ignominious end. It was begun, not in 2022, but in 2008 with George
Bush’s and NATO’S announcement that Georgia and Ukraine would,
contrary to promises made in 1991, both become members of NATO. This
was followed in February, 2014 with the United States State Department
orchestrated overthrow of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych
carried out by the neo-Nazi allies of the Obama Administration, Wall
Street, and the City of London. Now, the game is over. The depopulated
Ukraine, whose young people have been sent like lambs to the
slaughter, has come to the point where it can no longer staff the
proxy war. They have fought the war “to the next to the last
Ukrainian.”
There are those enamored with “magical thinking,” such as Ukrainian
once-President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, French President Emmanuel Macron,
U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and others in the EU bureaucracy.
Some European magicians, such as Italian Admiral Caro Dragone, are
even mad enough to suggest a preemptive nuclear strike against Russia,
in order to “inflict a strategic defeat.” The culturally deranged sick
men of Europe are leading the charge for more wars, more sanctions,
and more weapons intended to inflict a strategic defeat against Russia
and its allies in the BRICS nations. This will also fail.
What has driven the so-called “Coalition of the Willing” to
insanity? Their insanity is a form of desperation, driven by the
ongoing breakdown of the trans-Atlantic financial system; its record
levels of debt are driven by a frenzy of speculative activity, most
recently in cryptocurrencies and artificial intelligence. A global
Glass-Steagall Bill—the model of which is taken from Franklin D.
Roosevelt’s original 1933 U.S. Banking Act which separated useful
commercial banks from speculative-driven banking—is a useful first
step towards the direction of jumping ship from a sinking titanic, but
cannot be done in isolation by individual nations.
Other delusional, criminal elements of the “Establishment,” have
embarked on stealing everything not nailed down, but this is also a
decade end. Take this recent admission by the Belgian Prime Minister
Bert De Wever, who ridiculed the insane narrative around seizing
Russian assets for Ukraine. “The pressure surrounding this issue is
incredible,” De Wever said. “It would be a nice story: taking money
from the bad guy, Putin, and giving it to the good guy, Ukraine. But
stealing frozen assets from another country, its sovereign wealth
funds, has never been done before…. Even during World War II,
Germany’s money wasn’t confiscated. During a war, sovereign wealth
funds are frozen. And at the end of the war, the losing state must
relinquish all or part of these assets to compensate the victors. But
who really believes that Russia will lose in Ukraine? It’s a fable, a
complete illusion. It’s not even desirable for them to lose and for
instability to take hold in a country that possesses nuclear
weapons.”
The old way of doing things has come to an end. Russian President
Vladimir Putin reiterated this in his own way in an interview with
India Today on Dec. 3, while on his way to India for his two-day state
visit. The attempts to control India’s trade relationships through
sanctions won’t work, he said. “India cannot be treated the way it was
treated 77 years ago. India is a great power, not a British colony,
and everyone will have to take that into account.”
The LaRouche Organization’s “road not taken” of cooperation, rather
than confrontation, is the only pathway which can lead us out of hell
and into purgatory, at the very least. The Manhattan Project, starting
at 2pm EST, will feature experts from Europe and the United States.
Joining us will be Harley Schlanger, TLO spokesman; Claudio Celani,
EIR economics expert from Europe; and Megan Dobrodt, President of the
Schiller Institute in the U.S.
