John, this is getting out of control, and we need to do something:

Remember: the administration wants you to think that 66,000 is nothing more than a number. But we know the truth.

Those are 66,000 lives interrupted in the pursuit of a divisive, xenophobic agenda by political leaders who are supposed to represent us. That’s 66,000 families facing separation. 66,000 futures held hostage. 66,000 American dreams on the brink of destruction.

That’s why every Sunday for nearly four months, our allies at the Workers Circle have organized vigils outside of Alligator Alcatraz – a secretive ICE “black site” detention camp in the Florida Everglades – and we’re not stopping until we have justice.

Now, in order to grow our numbers and keep the momentum going, the Workers Circle is renting weekly buses to help people from across the state attend these vigils. But if they’re going to keep sending weekly buses, they need our help right now. Each bus costs $2,100 in rental fees, fuel, and accessibility needs. Our movement is committed to showing up, week after week, until this ICE black site is shut down.

Each week we’re filling these buses, and $36 helps cover the cost of one seat.
