You can’t keep a good doctor down.
Dr. Fauci has returned to the White House. Unfortunately, the top disease expert’s visit comes as Trump’s own staffers mount a campaign to discredit the nation’s leading epidemiologist in the eyes of the public.
The good news? According to CNN, polls still show that Dr. Fauci is widely trusted by a majority of Americans. It also looks like Dr. Fauci’s job is safe -- as federal law prohibits the president from directly firing civil servants like Fauci.
