Gavin Newsom broke the state constitution, overrode two voter-approved initiatives that created independent redistricting in California, and deceived voters into supporting his Prop 50 power grab. All of it was designed to rig the 2026 midterms for Democrats.

However, Gavin made a big mistake — targeting my seat.

I am running for re-election to represent California’s 48th Congressional District and this race is the most important in the country. It is our chance to turn the tables on Newsom, beat back his “Gavinmander,” and protect our Republican House Majority.

To the radical left candidates running against me, I have one message: Bring it on.

I’ve beaten Democrats my entire career — even when the odds were stacked against me. In 2016, Hillary Clinton carried my district by 7.5 points — and I still won and kept my seat red.

And we’re going to win again now. Even with gerrymandered lines, voters know who is fighting for them. In 2024, the American people demanded lower taxes, a secure border, and relief from inflation — and over the last 10 months, we delivered real results. I’ve led the effort in Congress to tackle the affordability crisis and help working families.

I’m excited to represent new cities and return to communities that I represented for decades— where I raised my family, built my business and served my constituents. To those who are new to this district: I will work tirelessly to earn your support and fight for you in Congress.
