Hi John,
For more than 40 years, Dr. Mark Borchardt has studied groundwater and drinking water safety in Wisconsin. He’s a nationally recognized microbiologist whose research has helped communities understand how contaminants move beneath our feet, and how they end up in the water families rely on every day.

What he’s seeing now is alarming.

Private well owners across Wisconsin often have no idea when their drinking water becomes unsafe. Unlike municipal water systems, private wells are not required to be tested, and no annual water quality reports are provided to homeowners.

Private well owners deserve timely notification when groundwater contamination is discovered.

We’re asking state lawmakers to help. Communities that depend on private wells deserve access to this critical information.

We need you to take action now and ask your legislators to support AB 635 & SB 628, the Water Pollution Notification Act.>>> [[link removed]]
