Millions have lost health insurance in pandemic-driven recession

BREAKING: A new study shows 5.4 million Americans lost their health insurance in the wake of the coronavirus.

But instead of giving Americans the resources they need to protect their health, the Trump Administration is asking the Supreme Court to eliminate the Affordable Care Act in its entirety and strip away health care from 23 million Americans.

We should be making it easier for Americans to get care during this unprecedented health crisis -- not taking it away. Will you add your name to mine and tell the Administration to stop its attacks on health care?

There are more than 3 million confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country, including more than 175,000 in New Jersey.

By trying to take away health care, the Trump Administration risks compounding both the health and economic effects of this crisis by drowning Americans in massive medical bills or discouraging them from seeking out care when they’re sick.

I’m working to strengthen health care by improving access to telehealth services, lowering the cost of prescription drugs, and ensuring protections for pre-existing conditions.

Those are the sort of steps we should be taking, but instead, the Trump Administration is trying to eliminate health care for millions of Americans outright. We need to fight back -- will you add your name and tell the Administration to stop attacking health care?

Thank you and take care,

Mikie
