I want you to hear this from me first: Today, I officially filed for reelection to North Carolina’s 2nd Congressional District.

[PHOTO]I've spent my career serving North Carolina — as a civil rights attorney, in the North Carolina General Assembly, and now as your Congresswoman — dedicated to improving life for families and communities across the state.

I pledge to continue delivering real results for the people of Wake County and North Carolina. I won't stop fighting to lower costs, protect our rights, and defend our democracy. And I won't stop working to build a better and brighter future for all.

The road ahead will be tough, but I feel a renewed sense of hope as Democrats gain momentum across the country. However, success always seems to attract those who want to turn back the clock, roll back progress, and silence our voices.

That’s why I’m reaching out today. This race is our chance to push back. To ensure that North Carolina’s 2nd District remains a beacon of hope and progress.

We have a real shot to take back the House in 2026. But if we don’t act quickly, we risk losing everything we’ve worked for.

Critical issues like healthcare, economic security, and support for our families are on the line — and our opponents are working hard to undo the progress we’ve made since I’ve been in Congress.

We’re aiming to raise $4,000 in our first 48 hours. This grassroots effort will help us kick off our campaign and build the organization we need to win.

This has always been a team effort, and your support is what makes a victory possible.

So, will you chip in $10 right now to help us hit this goal? Your early support sets the tone for everything we do next. [[link removed]]

Thank you for your belief in a brighter future for North Carolina. Now let's go make it happen.

Gratefully,

Deborah Ross

In 2020, Deborah became the first Democrat in over a decade to be elected to represent North Carolina’s 2nd Congressional district. In her first term, eleven pieces of legislation she introduced were signed into law. These measures increased funding for sexual assault nurse examiners, enhanced judicial ethics and transparency, and bolstered North Carolina’s offshore wind energy potential. Deborah needs your support to continue the fight for fairness, equality, and progress. Let’s do this together.
