Fuel our Commission Education Fund »
Friend,
Earlier this year, Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers announced the state's first-ever redistricting commission --
the People's Maps Commission!
Now All On The Line is launching a series of info sessions to inform Wisconsinites all about this commission and how they can apply. The deadline to apply to be a commissioner is the end of this month, so our timeline is short. We're committed to putting power back into the hands of the people.
That's why AOTL is running robust commission education programs in Arizona, Colorado, and now Wisconsin. Will you pledge an $8 monthly donation -- just $1 for each congressional district in Wisconsin -- to our Commission Education Fund to help power our work?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately.
The People's Maps Commission is a chance for folks of all backgrounds to have a voice during redistricting in a notoriously gerrymandered state. We expect map manipulators in Wisconsin to follow the lead of gerrymandering advocate Scott Walker -- which is why this commission is so important to our fight for fairness.
Your donation will help educate people interested in serving on independent redistricting commissions in our target states. Contributions directly fund research for eligibility requirements, outreach to underrepresented communities, and training on the state's map-drawing process. Will you chip in $8 a month to the Commission Education Fund before application periods expire across the country?
Thanks for powering our movement,
Liz Treviño
AOTL Wisconsin Director
