Rep. Loudermilk Has Co-Sponsored the Following Legislation and Co-signed Official Letters

H.R. 6372 – D.C. Shield Law Repeal Act

 - This bill would repeal Titles I and II of the D.C. Council’s Human Rights Sanctuary Amendment Act of 2022, which provides legal cover for medical providers who prescribe abortion drugs or cross-gender hormones across state lines, which is prohibited.
 - Liberal states have drafted “shield laws” for abortion providers who perform abortions or prescribe abortion medication and cross gender hormone drugs to individuals in states where these actions are now prohibited. Each law varies slightly, but they all ultimately seek to allow the shield state to refuse to comply with another state's investigation or penalization of a provider. Washington D.C. is one of these areas.

Letter to the Federal banking agencies (Fed, OCC, and FDIC) regarding enhanced prudential standards
 - Asks the agencies to review their application of enhanced prudential standards (EPS) to banks designated as Category II, III, and IV banking organizations and consider whether the current Category II, III, and IV EPS frameworks are proportionate to the risks presented by banks within these categories, whether reform of the EPS applicable to banks in these categories is warranted, and to index these regulatory thresholds

Letter to the Federal banking agencies (Fed, OCC, and FDIC) to urge recission of four agency guidance documents
 - Asks the agencies rescind four agency guidance documents, including the leveraged lending guidance, model risk management guidance, third-party risk management guidance, and Venture Funding bulletin – each jointly issued by the Fed, OCC, and FDIC.
 - Rescinding these documents would align with President Trump’s Executive Order 14219 – Directing the Repeal of Unlawful Regulations as the four documents are improperly issued under the Congressional Review Act and reflect poor policy by materially hindering U.S. economic growth and our national security
