On this International Volunteer Day, I want to speak from the heart.
Our movement has never been powered by corporations or Super PACs. It’s powered by you, people who believe every family deserves safety, dignity, and a government that centers the most vulnerable.
You’ve seen what we’re up against. AIPAC and Republican megadonors spent millions trying to silence me and this movement because we speak the truth about justice, peace, and protecting our communities from violence, whether it comes from gun manufacturers, policing systems, or foreign governments.
But here’s what they can’t stand: Every time they try to drown us out with money, we rise up louder. In fact, we’re spearheading the current movement of politicians turning away from AIPAC.
And volunteers like you are the backbone of that resistance. Grassroots action is how we consistently outdo megadonor money, and it’s how we build lasting change.
On this day, I’m asking you to give your time, your energy, and your voice. Whether it’s phone banking, knocking doors, texting voters, or bringing new people into this movement, your contribution matters.
