Dear friend,
Let me say something most politicians in Austin can’t say ---
I actually know this business, and I didn’t hear it from big-wig Austin lobbyists in fancy suits.
I was born into it.
My family has been in the oil business for nearly 80 years. Both of my grandfathers were in the oil business, and my father was in the oil business as a wildcatter. He also owned a successful oil service and oilfield equipment manufacturing business.
And in Midland, my brothers and I run our family office, still fully engaged in the Texas energy industry every single day.
But that’s not all.
While the political class was busy giving speeches, I was building businesses overseas that protected the world’s largest oil and gas companies from some of the most dangerous threats on the planet - - radical Islamists and Somali pirates.
So when people ask why I’m running for Railroad Commissioner, the answer is simple:
Texas deserves someone who knows the oil business inside and out.
I’m that man for the job. After all, it's in my blood.

For years, the Railroad Commission has been held back by career politicians who would rather cater to foreign governments than their own constituents.
And Texans are paying the price.
As Railroad Commissioner, I will use my experience to:
Because if we want to secure Texas’s future, we must keep Texas energy dominant.
That’s why I’m asking for your support today.
Together, we can launch the next great Texas energy boom.
