Navigating Through the New JBS.org
Last week we were excited to launch our new and improved website. With the launching of a new website, we understand that there are going to be some issues along the way. We appreciate all of the patience so far as we are working hard to fix bugs throughout the website. This new website might be intimidating for some people to use so we wanted to give you an overview of some of the issues that are occurring as well as provide a quick guide through the website.
One of the main problems that we have seen so far is members not being able to access the member pages along with the archives pages. Currently our web team and IT department are working hard to get those pages up and running. We again appreciate your patience and will be looking to get these pages up and running as soon as we can.
Navigating through a new website can be difficult at times but we are hopeful that this article will help you through the process. A major change that occurred to the website is that we wanted to put our most important (most clicked) tabs in the menu bar at the top of each page of the website. These tabs now include Action Projects, Act Now, Education, and ShopJBS. We feel like providing these links here will make it easier for you to find these popular pages.
Navigating to Popular Pages
We wanted to provide you with a quick guide on how to reach some of our most popular pages. First if you would like to visit our video page, the first step would be to find the Education tab on the top of the page. You can then hover over the Education tab until it drops down and you see “JBS Video." From there you can either click on the “JBS Video” tab to go straight to the video home page or you can hover over the “JBS Video” tab if you would like to find a specific video category. Once you are at our video home page you can now view JBS shows, Action Project videos, top videos, videos from our 60th Anniversary, videos from The New American along with our archives.
The Education tab also provides links to our other popular pages which include our events calendar and a link to the Freedom Index. The Act Now tab on the top of the Home Page also gives you a shortcut to our Legislative Action Alerts page and our events calendar. You can contact your local coordinator, become a JBS member and find membership options in this tab as well.
Our last important page is the Action Projects page. Navigating to our different Action Projects is now very simple. To find the Action Projects, you can either hover over the Action Project tab and select the project you are looking for or you can just simply click on the Action Projects tab. From there you are taken to the Action Projects home page and can find your specific Action Project there.
An important key to note when navigating through the new site is the John Birch Society button that is located in the top left corner of every page. If you ever get lost on the site or would like to go back, you can simply click on the button and it will take you back to the website's main home page. This provides you with a quick and simple way back to our main page.
We understand that navigating through this new site might become difficult. We want to make this transition as easy as we can so if any problems occur, please call our headquarters at (920)-749-3780 and let us know what we can do to help. We again thank you for your patience through this process and look forward to providing you with a great, new website.
