Team,
Before December really kicks in, I wanted to reach out personally and say thank you — not in the “campaign boilerplate” way, but earnestly.
November was one of the most clarifying months I’ve had in a long time. I talked with students who worry they’ll never be able to afford to stay in the state where they grew up. During my visit to Western Massachusetts, I heard from parents who are doing everything right and still feel like they’re one unexpected bill away from falling behind.

And I spent time with volunteers who see, up close, how great the need is right now.
Those conversations don’t disappear when the event is over. They sit with you. They sat with me all month.
And your support is the reason I’m able to keep showing up for those conversations — even when they’re tough, even when it would be easier to coast or wait for a “better moment.” I’m not interested in waiting. I don’t think the country can afford to.
So yes, I’m grateful we hit our November goals. But I’m even more grateful for what that actually represents: that there are people who believe we can do better than the status quo, and who are willing to fuel a campaign that says so out loud.
December will be a big month. I’ll have more to share soon. But I didn’t want to move forward without saying: thank you for giving this campaign its backbone.
