BANGOR - The Maine Department of Transportation will be implementing nighttime closures of Broadway in Bangor from Monday, December 8 to Tuesday, December 9, between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM each night for excavation work. During the nighttime closures, Broadway will be closed to all vehicular traffic. Flaggers will be onsite to assist pedestrians safely through the work zone during the closure period.

In addition to the closures, rolling roadblocks are planned to slow incoming traffic on Thursday, December 11, and Friday, December 12, to mobilize equipment into the work zone.

This work is part of the ongoing bridge replacement project on I95.

Motorists should follow the detour map provided and posted detour signs.
