Yesterday the Supreme Court gave the green light for Texas Republicans to use their gerrymandered maps ordered by Donald Trump – after a lower court struck them down.

The Trump-stacked Supreme Court continues to use its shadow docket to give its blessing to Trump’s attacks on our democracy.

As Justice Kagan wrote in her dissent, this ruling “disserves the millions of Texans” who were gerrymandered into new districts based on their race. It’s another shameful mark on John Roberts’ tenure as Chief Justice.

But now the stakes are clear.

In Texas, that means fighting like hell to beat Republicans in every possible district. Even with their gerrymandered maps, we can pick up seats if we start RIGHT NOW.

AND…

Democrats MUST aggressively pursue redistricting in every possible blue state ahead of the 2026 midterms. We cannot unilaterally disarm while Trump attempts to rig the midterms before any votes are cast.
