Friend – is it just me, or does it seem like nowadays, we're all paying more for much, much less?
Home ownership is out of reach. Child care is on par with college tuition. Shopping for health insurance is like playing a guessing game you can't win, if your job offers it at all. We’re paying about 30% more for groceries now than we did in 2020… and I could keep going.
And, Trump’s tariffs are driving prices higher – just in time for the holidays. Yet as corporations boast record profits, take-home pay isn't keeping up.
So, despite what our president wants us to think, you know as well as I do that the affordability crisis is not "fake news." That means we can fix it.
We just have to stop waiting on Washington Republicans to deliver on their empty promises and create solutions in Colorado, for Coloradans.
And if I can count on the grassroots support of folks like you to win the governor's race, my plan to lower the cost of living starts by:

* 🏘️ Building affordable homes closer to jobs and transit
* 💸 Taking on home and auto insurance options to make them budget-friendly
* 🩺 Cutting costs for health care, mental health care and prescription drugs
* 🏥 Keeping rural clinics and hospitals open, staffed, and operating
* 🧑🧒 Making child care within reach for working families
* 🚦 Expanding cheaper and reliable transportation statewide
* ⚡️ Stabilizing energy rates (and keeping service reliable)
* 🛣️ Fixing the roads
* ⚖️ Forcing energy-sucking data centers to pay their fair share
As governor, my top priority will be leveling the playing field so that our economy actually works for Colorado's working families again.
But heading into 2026, President Trump and his allies will spend anything to crush our people-powered momentum and elect someone who'll let Washington keep nickel-and-diming Colorado families. That means I won't be able to rise above the guaranteed flood of GOP-allied corporate attacks to come without your small-dollar support today.
So if you're in a place where you can spare a few bucks today, will you pitch in $5 or any amount that works best for you right away?

Let's do this,
Michael
