Connecting Industry & Education Forum Comes to Cody

Superintendent Megan Degenfelder's Connecting Industry & Education event in Cody was a success. The feedback received from local businesses and the community will help guide education priorities in Wyoming.

 


PLC Training Makes Statewide Impact

Over 100 Wyoming principals and teachers, representing 20 schools and 12 districts, recently attended the annual PLC@Work training in Riverton. Attendees received training on the PLC process to ensure consistent and effective implementation within their schools. The WDE provided this training in collaboration with Solution Tree.

Superintendent Megan Degenfelder was honored to speak at a Veteran's Day Ceremony with American Legion Post 6 in Cheyenne and to spend time with brave men and women who have served our country and fought for our freedom.

School Nurses Receive Training

School nurses attended a training presented by the WDE to improve their knowledge and abilities to support children with special healthcare needs. The training included hands-on stations focused on the most common health conditions seen in schools. Superintendent Megan Degenfelder spoke at the event to share her support for the important role nurses play in schools.
