Trump has been publicly pressuring Republican-led states to redraw districts to tilt future elections toward the GOP. And now the Supreme Court — stacked with a MAGA majority — is greenlighting the plan.
A three-judge panel already found that Texas Republicans manipulated racial demographics to dismantle districts where Black and Latino voters had real political power. They said the map likely violates the Constitution.
But Donald Trump’s handpicked Supreme Court Justices brushed that aside and sided with Texas anyway — claiming lawmakers acted in “good faith.”
Right… Good faith gerrymandering.
Justice Elena Kagan said it plainly: this ruling forces Texans into districts because of their race — an outright constitutional violation. The saddest part is, this is exactly what Trump wants: a nationwide gerrymandering blitz to rig the 2026 midterms before a single vote is cast.
And if MAGA succeeds, they won’t stop at 2026. They’ll entrench minority rule for a generation. This is a democracy emergency. And we need grassroots power right now.
