Amanda Makki Outraises Charlie Crist in the Second Quarter, Pulls Away As The CD13 Republican Frontrunner

St. Petersburg, FL – Conservative Republican Amanda Makki’s 2020 Q2 campaign finance report continues to demonstrate why she is the strongest choice to be the Republican nominee for Florida’s 13th Congressional District. Makki ended the quarter with twice as much cash on hand than the rest of the Republican candidates combined. Her fundraising and grassroots organization have proven she’s the conservative candidate to take on Liberal Charlie Crist in November.

In addition, Makki has raised over $1 million in total contributions (including those slated for the general election against Crist) as Republican voters echo their support for her candidacy. A recent St.PetePolls.org showed Amanda Makki leading all other Primary Election candidates with likely CD13 Republican voters and a 42% favorability rating!

We are nearly a month away from the Primary Election and I remain steadfast in our goal to defeat Charlie Crist”, said Makki. “Charlie Crist doesn’t stand for Pinellas County. He consistently votes with Nancy Pelosi to further the Left’s progressive agenda. As the conservative counterpunch, I am the only candidate who will put Pinellas County and American values first.”

Makki’s recent endorsements come from Congressional Republican Leaders Kevin McCarthy, Steve Scalise as well as esteemed U.S. Armed Force members including Senator Joni Ernst, the first female combat veteran ever elected to the United States Senate. Other honored veterans’ supporters include Congressmen Michael Waltz (Lt. Colonel) and Combat Veteran Robert O’Neill of the elite Navy SEAL Team 6, who shot Osama bin Laden.
