John, we need your help [[link removed]]. The Supreme Court just ruled in favor of Texas’s new congressional map, which splits up Black and Brown communities into different districts and weakens the power of their votes.
Will you chip in $10 right now to help us expand voter education, reach more communities, and empower people to make their voices heard despite barriers that stand in their way? [[link removed]]

This ruling could significantly affect how voters across Texas — especially communities of color — are represented in next year’s midterm elections. Under these new maps, Austin voters share a district with rural voters more than 300 miles away, and some Texans may be represented by officials who live as many as 500 miles away from their community.
If the Supreme Court blocked the map, they could have stopped similar redistricting efforts already underway in other states. And this decision could have huge consequences for next year’s midterms, which will decide who gets control over the U.S. House of Representatives [[link removed]].
John, voters are supposed to choose our elected officials — not the other way around. Chip in today to help us protect voter access and ensure every community has the tools to make their voices heard. [[link removed]]
