We can finish the job and finally get rid of Boebert this election.
John,
Republicans are freaking out after the Tennessee special election. Here’s why:
If turnout had been super low, and if Republican voters stayed home while mostly Democrats showed up, the GOP would be feeling good and sleeping well after the election.
But they aren’t—they’re waking up in a cold sweat, blaming Speaker Mike Johnson’s poor leadership for placing them on the edge of disaster.
Turnout was actually very high in the TN-07 special election — at Midterm participation levels. Both Republican and Democratic voters showed up, and the GOP still only won by 9 points in a district that Trump won by 22% last year:
The GOP is seriously effed.
All the signs are there: we can finish the job and finally get rid of Lauren Boebert this election.
Boebert is only in Congress because of a mere 546 votes. In 2024 when Trump was on the ballot, her Democratic opponent Trisha Calvarese had the single best performance a Democrat has ever had in this district, overperforming Kamala Harris by 6 pts while Boebert underperformed Trump in every county.
