Senate Democrats, under Chuck Schumer’s leadership, ended the shutdown on the mere promise of a vote to extend ACA subsidies. But without any details or certainty, that promise has only deepened the anxiety for our community and millions of families who will feel the direct impact as the expanded ACA subsidies expire.

As health insurance costs double or triple in some cases, we need your voice to show the real impact of Congressional inaction on Black families in our community.
