Last night I joined Anderson Cooper to discuss Donald Trump and his attacks on our Somali community here in Minnesota.

I made it clear that the vile language Donald Trump is directing at American citizens is only greenlighting more harassment and abuse.

In Minnesota, we know that our Somali neighbors are part of the fabric of our communities. While Trump is hurling racist threats, we’re going to stand with our neighbors.

But this is just the beginning. We know that Trump is going to continue to attack our state. As the People’s Lawyer, I’ve stood up for Minnesota every time Trump has come after us, and that’s not going to stop now.

I need folks across Minnesota to stand with me as we fight back against Donald Trump and make sure he knows that we will not stand for his racism, hatred, and abuse.
