Honoring Dr. Yaqub Mirza
Dear Emgage Community,
We share with deep sadness the news of the passing of Dr. Yaqub Mirza yesterday. May Allah SWT envelop him in mercy, forgive his shortcomings, and grant him the highest ranks in Jannah.

Dr. Mirza was a man whose humility and sincerity left lasting impressions on everyone he encountered. After joining Emgage in 2017, I still remember the first time I met him. He sat with such quiet humility, a warm smile on his face, and a strong, dignified presence that needed no volume to be felt. In that one on one, he offered honest, sincere feedback and heartfelt advice, the kind would get from a grandfather. One that could only come from someone who genuinely wanted the best for others. He gave from his heart, and it showed.
After that day, as a new young leader trying to make my mark in the world, I met with various leaders across our community, and without exception, each one brought up Dr. Mirza’s name as a supporter and an encourager. I was inspired by his presence. His impact was widespread, consistent, and deeply rooted in his commitment to serve Allah’s cause through empowering people and institutions.
We are profoundly grateful for the guidance and support he extended not only to our organization but to the greater community. His legacy of integrity, generosity, and visionary leadership will continue to influence and uplift our community for years to come. I pray that Allah SWT allows his legacy of goodness to live on through thos e he inspired, like myself.
Please keep Dr. Mirza and his family in your duʿā. May Allah grant them patience, comfort, and peace during this difficult time.
