Hi John,,

This week I spent a morning at San Pascual Park where I was reminded again
why this campaign matters so much.

Community members shared that the proposed Arroyo Seco Water Reuse Project
would divert 20 million gallons of water from the Arroyo Seco every year
to irrigate the South Pasadena Golf Course. Twenty million gallons will be
taken annually from our ecosystem, our neighborhood, and our cultural
heritage — all to subsidize a private project that won’t benefit the
community.

I’m running for Congress because this pattern keeps repeating itself.

Public resources are redirected behind closed doors without community
input.

Whether it’s water for golf courses or massive amounts of power and water
for data centers, it’s unacceptable.

I’m fighting back against projects that grow in the dark without
transparency or community input, while we pay the price in higher utility
rates, pollution, and the loss of our green space.

We deserve better. We deserve community leaders that put people and the
planet first, not hidden agendas for profit.

this people-first campaign?

I’m in this race because our communities deserve someone who won’t look
away when public resources are siphoned off for private gain.

Thank you for being with me in this fight,

Angela
