John —

Despite decades of evidence to the contrary, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is still peddling the malicious fabrication that childhood vaccines cause autism.

Let me be clear: Over and over, expert research has found that there is no connection between vaccines and autism. But Kennedy’s anti-science conspiracy theories are now reflected across the federal government, including on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) web page on autism and vaccines. The web page header still specifies that vaccines do not cause autism — but with an asterisk:

* The header “Vaccines do not cause autism” has not been removed due to an agreement with the chair of the U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee that it would remain on the CDC website.

Look, Kennedy is no expert. He is not a medical professional. He is not a researcher. He is bent on power and influence — and he’s decided that being the central figure of the anti-vaccine conspiracy movement is how he’ll get it.

I’m calling it like I see it. It is the government’s duty to protect the people, but Kennedy’s actions are a direct threat to the health of our families and our communities.

I need you to stand with me now. Add your name to demand that the federal government protect and encourage access to vaccines and stop peddling conspiracy theories around autism.

SIGN ON

Thanks to the Trump Administration’s anti-science ideology, the vaccine panel that is supposed to keep American families safe is set to make it harder for parents to get their children the vaccines they need to stay healthy.

Under President Trump and Kennedy, the facts don’t matter. All that matters is spreading conspiracy theories — lies — designed to further their dangerous agenda.

We have to stop them.

Join me and call for our federal government to stop with the ideological lies and to protect vaccines — and our people.

Thanks for speaking out,

Roy Cooper
