Drawing from the full spectrum of American sound, the concerto will weave orchestral tradition with the layered sounds of our diverse nation. The concerto will also use multimedia storytelling to create a dynamic, multi-sensory experience that gives us the gift of a score that traces the arc of America’s becoming. The Democracy Concerto will be composed by musical luminaries Kendall Ramseur and BLKBOK. Watch the beginning of this story in this sneak peek video: |
